Barakatullah Electro Dynamics Limited (BEDL) is a listed public limited power generating company, presently on production with 51MW gas fired power plant at Fenchuganj, Sylhet. A second power station of 50MW HFO fired power plant named Baraka Patenga Power Limited at Patenga, Chittagong is under installation. We require the following personnel for Patenga 50MW plant. Work Experience:
a) The candidate should have at least 2 years working experience in a HFO power station with capacity not less than 20MW in the position of not less than Deputy Manager/ Sub-Divisional Engineer or equivalent. Candidates having at least 8 years experience in any power station having capacity of not less than 20MW in the position of Assistant Manager Maintenance Engineer/ Shift Engineer (as Assistant Engineer) are also qualified for application.
b) At least 8 years experience in a UFO power station with capacity not less than 20MW is required Knowledge on power station materials (mechanical and electrical) and experience of managing, handling of capital machineries and spare parts of any power plant in the construction/installation phase will be an asset. Experience in bulk fuel handling preferred Professional training on HFO Power Engine, Fire and Personnel Safety will be added advantages.

Special Requirement: Candidates having first class in bachelor or diploma level are preferred CGPA 3.5 out of 5.0 and CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 will be treated as first class.
B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Marine from any reputed public university, B.Sc. Engineering in Petrochemical/Chemical from any reputed public university in both cases MBA or PCDM will be an added advantage.
Good command in English, Microsoft Office applications and e-mail communications is must.
